Activities for kids in Florence – a summer strolling around Boboli Gardens

Florence presents thousands of art attractions, but even its green areas are enchanting and perfect for families, where your children can relax and enjoy some cultural and learning activities made especially for them.

The park you cannot miss is certainly the most famous garden in Florence, the Boboli Gardens.
You can walk there from B&B Martini or you can arrive there by taking a bus for just a few minutes.

The Boboli Gardens is one of the most wonderful historical parks, where the big and the little ones can have fun and experience nature or just stretch their legs.

The Boboli Gardens are situated behind the Pitti Palace, the ancient residence of the Dukes of Tuscany. Even though the Gardens date from the mid-16th century, you can still feel and imagine you are a king or a queen just by strolling around the park.

The Boboli Gardens are closed the first and last Monday of the month. They are open from 8.15 to 16.30 from November to February, from 8.15 to 17.30 in March, from 8.15 to 19.30 from April to May and from September to October and from 8.15 to 19.30 from June to August. Admission is free under 18 years of age. The ticket office closes one hour before the garden closes.
